FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY INTERVIEW PANEL

1. Tell me about yourself? Interviewers like this approach, as it breaks the ice and quickly gives them a 'gut feeling' about a person. The interviewer will have an idea about whether or not you can express yourself clearly or whether you find it difficult to find things to say. You need to have a short statement prepared in your mind. The key is not to ramble on and on, keep it short, perhaps no more than a couple of minutes. Limit it to work - related items unless instructed otherwise. Talk about things you have done and jobs you have held.
